Who are you?

We are a bunch of guys and gals who get together at least once a month to hang out and talk/ride bikes. Yeah, we ride them too. There are very few trailer queens in this bunch. We started and are located in Independence, Missouri but our members are from all over the Kansas City Metro area.

 What kind of bikes are you talking about?

Well some of us like to restore or preserve bicycles. Some like to customize. Some of us just wipe off the grease and go. And a select few ride them with the grease and cobwebs intact. But to keep things simple, we like vintage or classic bikes. Bikes like 1967 Schwinn Sting-Rays and 1920’s Motobikes, and 1950’s Cruisers whether they be light or heavyweights. Some dig klunkers and some even dig classic road bikes and track/velodrome bikes. A few of us even ride Old School BMX from time to time.

Who what, when and where?

Well there were at least 5 of us who got together after a swap meet a few years back in 2006 and decided to create a club that catered to guys and gals who shared the same passion in bicycles that we enjoyed.  We all have varying tastes. But there is one thing we do agree on. Old bikes are awesome! You can’t buy them new in stores. Well at least not these bikes. Take a look at our Gallery and Members pages for an idea or two!

We are currently under 30 members from all walks of life. We meet once a month and even schedule special events outside of the monthly meetings. Our bikes have been shown and displayed at various events including the World of Wheels in Kansas City, Missouri,  Greaserama, Peddlers Bike shop Spring and Fall Bike Show/Swaps as well as other festivals  and shows.
